The site extends to approximately 13ha and is situated within the Parish of Preston which immediately adjoins the settlement boundary of Cirencester.

 

To the north, the Application Site is bound by Corinium Stadium, Cirencester Arena and associated sports pitches, whilst to the west, the Application Site is bound by the recently constructed Kings Meadow residential development. Kingshill Lane connects to the A419 Cirencester Road, a strategic principal road in the highway network.

 

The site is proposed to meet the housing land supply shortfall of Cotswold District Council between 2023 and 2031 and will provide a range and mix of housing including affordable homes.
